About the role
It’s exciting and busy times at Millstream Management Services and due to our growth we’re looking to appoint a Legal Administrator to support our expanding legal team.
It’s a great role, as you’ll be looking after all aspects of legal administration relating to property sales, transfers and rentals. You’ll have the opportunity to liaise with a wide range of external contacts, including solicitors, Owners, their families, the Land Registry and many more.
Primarily, you’ll ensure that legal administration services are provided in a professional and timely manner and a high level of overall customer service is maintained. You’ll remain up to date and get actively involved in all new legislation relevant to estate agency practices in the UK, as well as complying with the requirements of the NAEA and RICS. You’ll also get involved in other areas of the business as required.
Hours of work are 9.00am to 5.30pm Monday to Thursday and 9.00 to 5.00pm on Friday, with one hour for lunch.
We are looking for a self-motivated, personable administrator who enjoys working as part of a busy team. It’s essential that you have recent office experience, preferably in a Legal/Property environment, including excellent keyboard and word processing skills with knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Ideally, you’ll also be educated to a high standard.
You’ll need to be comfortable working under pressure and using your initiative to problem solve. Organisation, prioritisation and attention to detail are key as you’ll be managing a varied and busy workload. Due to the fast changing nature of the role, you’ll also need to be flexible, mature in attitude and eager to learn and take on new challenges.
This is a great learning opportunity, as we’ll provide on the job training in legal administration!
