Streetly retirement development joins Millstream Management Services

5th June 2017

Millstream Management Services (MMS) has been appointed by Streetly’s Pegasus Court retirement development, following the formation by the residents of a Right to Manage Company.

The development, located at 155 Chester Road near the centre of Streetly, comprises 43 units and is home to 47 retirees. After forming a Right to Manage Company the leaseholders now have the power to choose the manager of their development, without the need to collectively purchase the freehold.

MMS is fast becoming a leader in the Right to Manage field, and has now been appointed on this basis by a total of 21 developments (964 units).

Gordon Civil, Chairman of the new Right to Manage Directors at Pegasus Court, said: “We wanted to take back control of the way our development is run, and forming a Right to Manage Company was the perfect solution for us. We’re now free to decide how the building is managed, and we’re very pleased to have selected Millstream Management Services, who have been very helpful throughout the process. I’m happy with their work so far and confident that they will do an excellent job of looking after our needs.”

Simon Crewe, Managing Director of MMS, added: “Our philosophy is to put our customers at the heart of everything we do, and we’re delighted to have been chosen by another Right to Manage Company at Pegasus Court to provide a service that puts their needs first. We’ll look forward to working closely with the leaseholders to ensure their development continues to thrive.”
