About the role
The Property Manager will operate at both strategic and operational level and responsibilities will increase in line with our continued growth.
Working closely with Area and Lodge Managers you will ensure that all ‘property’ related matters are dealt with in a cohesive, timely and efficient manner.
The main duties and responsibilities are to develop, implement and maintain property management policy, processes and procedures and manage all planned maintenance/works to facilitate any changes that are required. The role involves providing surveying services (stock condition surveys) to our managed buildings nationally, as and when, on a supplier basis and involves managing section 20 major works consultations. The successful applicant will also provide advice and guidance on emergency works and management information in respect of property maintenance costs to help inform future service charge budgets, future planned maintenance schedules, management of national and regional subcontractor/supplier contracts and improving service levels for Owners.
The hours of work are 9.00am – 5.30pm, Monday to Thursday and 9.00am – 5.00pm on Friday.
We are looking for applicants with Construction and property management knowledge with a ‘can do’ attitude, educated to HNC/degree level or equivalent in a related property construction or property subject. Ideally current hold or working towards a professional qualification in construction such as RICS or CIOB. You should also be highly organised and possess good technical writing and excellent presentation skills.
